Possible Culver Family Cemetery (destroyed)

Location:
From the Hancock County Courthouse, go southwest on Hwy 22 for 2.0 miles. Turn left on Gaissert Church Rd and go for 1.5 miles. Turn left on Sugar Hill Rd and go for 2.3 miles to where it dead ends into Brown Creek Rd. Turn left and go about 100 feet. A field road and a fence should be to your right. Walk down the field road for 0.2 mile to a rise. The cemetery was on this rise.

The cemetery was destroyed after 1950 by placement of a sawmill on the site. There is no evidence of any graves at this time.

Great Great Grandson Billy Dickens thought his great great grandparents, Sanders Culver and Ann Culver, were buried here. But Sanders Culver's obituary says he was buried in Knowles Chapel Cemetery, and their gravestones can be found there.
